Annual Parish Meeting - Thursday 14th May 2026
Every English town or parish must hold an Annual Meeting of the Parish for electors registered in the area. This year, Whitworth’s Annual Meeting of the Parish takes place on Thursday 14th May at 7:30pm, at The Ashcroft. The meeting will be quorate (legal) if just two electors are present. Although chaired by the Mayor, this is not a council meeting. It is a meeting for all Whitworth people to get an overview of what is currently happening in the town, looking at the work of various organisations serving Whitworth, and offering electors the opportunity to raise queries and make observations. It is usually over within the hour or so, so why not come along, everyone is welcome. See you there!
