Whitworth Community Carol Service - Monday 7th December
Whitworth’s Annual Christmas Carol Service at The Ashcroft
Whitworth’s Carol Service will take place at The Ashcroft (formally The Riverside) on Monday 7th December from 7pm. Doors open at 6.30 pm. This free event is a great way to start off the festive season and everyone is warmly welcome to join the Mayor, Councillor Louise Burton for a jolly night at this very special Christmas event.
The service will be led by Mayoral Chaplain, Father Benjamin Garba and will feature traditional Christmas carols accompanied by Whitworth Vale and Healey Junior Brass Band. Whilst the event is very much in the planning stage at present, everyone here at Whitworth Town Council is looking forward to this special annual festive event. After the service, guests are invited to join us for hot drinks and mince pies. All funds raised will be donated to the Mayor’s charity fund.
The Mayor hopes to see everyone there enjoying the festive season.
