The Whitworth Valley News is an A5, 36-page, full colour community magazine which is produced by Whitworth Town Council. It is published four times a year (Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter) and has a print run of 3,900 copies per issue. It is delivered to every household in the Whitworth area, and to numerous businesses and key stakeholders, and is also available as a download on the Town Council’s website, www.whitworth.gov.uk.
Due to the nature of the magazine we have a cap on the number of adverts we carry per edition, to ensure that there is plenty of space available for the editorial content. Additionally, because the magazine is primarily paid for by Whitworth taxpayers, and because the magazine’s main aim is to provide coverage, promotion and information on local events, organisations and businesses, advertisers from the Whitworth area are given priority.
ADVERTISING
Adverts are available in a quarter page (A7 portrait) size at a cost of £34.94 per edition or half page (12.8cm x 9cm) at a cost of £69.88 per edition. We can receive artwork via email (PDF, PSD, JPEG are the usual formats). If you do not have an advert we can help by designing an ad for you. There is also a listings opportunity at the rear of the magazine. A listing here costs £6.50 per edition, and we ask for 3 issues commitment at a cost of £19.50 in total. The listing includes your company name, a short description, and contact details including telephone, email, website and a postal address. There is availability for listings.
