An Evening with Sean Ruane and Friends

Highlights of Sean's operatic career include his 2004 debut at The Royal Opera House, Covent Garden in The Tempest (Thomas Adés). While opera remains at the heart of his work, Seán has become the voice for many of the national sporting events. He has sung ahead of England football internationals, the Irish Rugby Six Nations internationals and during the last three Ashes series. He has also appeared on the bill of the Teenage Cancer Trust concerts, alongside the likes of Paul Weller, Jools Holland and comedian Johnny Vegas.

The event takes place on Saturday 16th October with doors opening at 6pm and the event starting at 6.30pm. All funds raised will be distributed to non profit organisations supporting residents of Whitworth.

Tickets are £9.50 for adults and £5 for children under 10 years. Tickets are available from the Council Office at the Ashcroft (01706 852018), Cllr Maureen Jones (07794 355610), Janet Neal (07866 621969), Whitworth Post Office, Facit Garden Centre and Eventbrite.  Please note ticket sales via Eventbrite will incur a booking fee which goes to the ticket platform.
