      • St Mary and St Anselm Christmas Fayre :: 04-11-2017
        St Mary and St Anselm will be holding their Christmas Fayre at The Riverside on Saturday the 5th November 10 till 1pm. Admission is £1; children accompanied by an adult go free. There will be stalls including handicrafts, a tombola, cakes and biscuits, and toys and books, and there will also be a special visit from Father Christmas!       • Keep Whitworth Tidy Litterpick :: 17-09-2017
        Meet the volunteers of Keep Whitworth Tidy between 9am and 10am to collect litter. Meeting location will be announced nearer the time on the 'Keep Whitworth Tidy' facebook group. All welcome and equipment provided.
      • Whitworth Rushcart :: 03-09-2017
        Following months of discussion, negotiation and planning, the annual Whitworth Rushcart celebrations will take place in the town on the afternoon of Sunday 3 September 2017.
      • Rochdale Childrens Moorland Home Family Fun Day :: 03-09-2017
        Rochdale Children’s Moorland Home are due to have a Family Fun Day on Sunday 3rd September between 11am and 3pm. There will be lots of activities including an adventure play area, face painting, tombola, raffle, competitions, refreshments and music. Free entry and fun for all the family.         Friday 18th August 10.30am - Walk a mile in carers shoes Raise £10 to enter Starts outside the waterski centre Followed by a Family BBQ and Activity Day 11am - 4pm Whitworth Waterski Academy at Cowm Res FACE PAINTING, AFRICAN DRUMMING, ACTIVITY WALKS AND MORE FREE waterskiing for carers, £10 for others
      • Meeting of the U3A :: 02-08-2017
        Retired or semi retired? Want to develop new interests? Want to meet new people? Or have some fun? University of the Third Age are a self-help organisation for active retired or semi-retired people providing educational creative and leisure activities. Meetings take place on the first Wednesday of each month at 1pm at Sunny Bank Day centre.

        Greenbrook House Garden Fete Sunday 30th July, 1pm - 4pm Free admission, donations welcome Refreshments, stalls, handmade crafts, tombola and a guest appearance by John Alexander, the singing jeweller. Monies raised will go towards garden furniture.
